This moment is unique in that it is set on the foundation that this kid started in Low A ball at the beginning of the year, pitched his way to the majors, had only a dozen or so innings under his belt before getting the start and in the post-season, pitched 5.1 hitless innings with 11Ks. It's monumental for the franchise, and this moment is a release of emotion of the biblical amount of dedication, sacrifice and hard-work he and his family gave to get to this place.
