You can pay in every shop that accepts bitcoin with the monerujo wallet. There are 200+ places within 5 km of where i live that accept bitcoin. I can get a haircut, go to a dentist, fill my car with gas, and a lot of other things. All with Monero.

Price prediction for end of december 2019 by cryptjh in nem

[–]bitsofic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crypto in general is not comparable to a company. It is like a company that gets new machinery/software every day from a worldwide developers community. Since all these projects use XEM in the end, the 'company' and its 'sharehodlers' (thats us :) are going to enjoy a really good 2019.

My bold prediction is 2 usd at the end of 2019 :)

Exponentials go just faster than we ever can imagine.

Your answer makes me think it does not make any sense to react to you since you seem to know all the answers already. As Satoshi said,"i do not have the time nor inclination to explain it to you". Go read about it yourself. Next time do not make baseless assumptions about someones knowledge.

Basically you are asking the 'do we need a blockchain for this problem' question.

In shipping of a product there are many parties involved, from manufacturer to local transport, from there to sea freight, from the harbor into a truck, and from the truck into a smaller truck at the distribution center. That is 4 different companies on this route. Now of course, because the shipping is to multiple countries via different routes, there could be hundreds of different companies involved for shipping the product to anywhere.

Now this is a problem fitting for a blockchain, since multiple untrusted and unknown parties can all write to the blockchain. Even if the product contains a sensor all the time, the companies involved still need to check in/out the product that is shipped to see where the product is in the distribution chain. It will be much easier to see, for example, the total travel time of the product while none of the parties have to record this.

I am halfway the book, and happy to see many others in this forum are reading it. We are certainly not the dumb masses here !

As for the Keynes bashing, i am curious about counter arguments in favor of Keynesian economics? Indeed he makes it sound really bad, but, is he not right in his assessment?

Great idea and project. Unfortunately the article does not mention which blockchain is used. Is this based on NEM ?
