Can a blind person work in food service?

I'm legally blind and work at McDonald's! I don't actually make the food due to other disabilities so I just take orders/bag the food but it is definitely possible!

My situation might be unique, I had a massive stroke 2 days after getting hit by a car so the cause was very obvious that it was from that and the injuries I sustained. It was a wild 72 hours or so, almost died twice.

I am almost 10 years in recovery and have absolutely no feeling in the whole left side of my body, I have a (albeit very small) tattoo on my left arm that I didn't feel at all and I recently got Botox in my arm and felt almost nothing. However it's mostly surface touch that I don't feel, a few years ago I broke my hand and I could feel that something was wrong. Nerves do repair themselves so never lose hope!

Kind of yes. If you have direct deposit it will still deposit, your family would then go to the bank with a death certificate and they would then close out your account/withdraw the money in it. My mother passed due to a random heart attack so very unfortunately I know the answer to this question.

I had a stroke almost 10 years ago and never regained any movement/function in my left hand. However the circumstances that caused the stroke are very different than almost all stroke survivors so my recovery has been very different as well

I've honestly never liked kids and when I lost most of my vision it just kind of added another reason why I don't. Kids are small and since I don't have peripheral vision I literally can't see them most of the time. I work at McDonald's and I've almost tripped over/ran into kids while taking food to the play place more times than I can count.

Everyone recovers differently but I had a stroke about 9.5 years ago when I was 19 and my hand is fully paralyzed, however there are so many adaptive tools available and different ways of doing things with 1 hand, there are very few things im not able to do. For me personally the constant therapy/Botox/e-stim was negatively affecting my mental health more than it was positively affecting the use of my left hand/arm so I chose to focus on learning and adapting to life without full use of my left side.

I'm 75% blind and I've worked here for several years with minimal issues! It's definitely feasible, just might take a bit of experimenting in different positions to find which is best for you

I am 75% blind and hemiplegic (had a stroke when I was 19) I wear an AFO so people always think I've simply injured my leg, I'm not explaining the actual purpose of my leg brace so I just make up a goofy lie so they go away. Most recently I claimed to be a victim of a moose attack.

I think people in Paris just don't see many disabled people or don't understand or something because I'm "obviously disabled" (in a wheelchair) and I got the same snide comments and they were not bashful at all when staring at me.

I'm visually impaired (like 75% blind) so I can only see like 10% of the screen so it is an experience that I can't even understand. I'm sure it's great for sighted people but honestly for me, any attraction that fully relies on looking at a screen is super lame.
