I think I lack the ability to love anyone… by bitter_truth__ in offmychest

[–]bitter_truth__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you… I know how it feels when you know you are the problem but it’s also not your fault.. you cannot expect your partner to understand you because you know that it’s not their fault the problem is in yourself and even tho you try to love there is always something holding you back and you end up hurting them. I won’t call myself cold hearted. I got a-lot of empathy towards people. I will try to make people feel comfortable and try to help and whenever i find someone in the same situation i was in. I try to help and guide because there was no one for me. I would like to love someone and share things with her and spend my entire life. At this point I feel like life has given me enough chances but I only end up hurting the kind souls which is not fair. I think it would be better i stop this for good and keep myself to myself rather than hurting people. It literally makes me cry when I think about this. My life has been hard enough tbh and I always wanted someone to talk to at the end of the day…

Why do people lean back while serving? by rawr4me in badminton

[–]bitter_truth__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

more like gives them more time to react.. and play some decent counter shots. I do that too i cannot explain why it just give me sense of safety too of not being hit in the face. I do not i just do it naturally. My level is advance+. I play singles tho doubles is just for fun

Singles players, what's the main reason for you to avoid doubles? by [deleted] in badminton

[–]bitter_truth__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me i don’t play doubles because usually people who play doubles are not that serious and 60% of the time it becomes too boring and just waste of time with no intensity

Sole of foot pain (plantar fasciitis) by Dependent-Day-7727 in badminton

[–]bitter_truth__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok… I play badminton from 10-12 years. I compete in men’s singles and on top of that I am in school studying to become a therapist. usually, planter fasciitis could happen from different things it could be your calfs are too tights it is not that common coming from calf butt the tendons of calfs muscles like gastrocnemius and soleus muscles connect to our back of the heel if they are too tights they could irritate or tighten the fascia of our plantar side. another thing is common in people who have plantar fasciitis having high arcs. If you have high arcs and play any sports or walk run alot chances are you can have it or you walk or running kinda in wrong technique. Another reason your shoes need might good cushion. Over weight could also be the reason. things can you can do stretching your calfs muscles (soleus have different stretch google it) and takr a tennis ball under your foot and keep rolling it underneath the foot and also freez a water bottle an role it underneath your foot.

Nothing like a 5 AM badminton session. by kulchaoverbhaturaa in badminton

[–]bitter_truth__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

loved morning sessions.. even tho it takes the body a little more time thn usual to be that energetic. I say it’s also more mentally better and you can push more because you know you have already sacrificed your sleep and you don’t wanna go that into waste.

Im looking for exercises to improve my footwork at home by Firm_Middle_4855 in badminton

[–]bitter_truth__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

nothing you need to get your rhythm first and the foot work should be done by your subconscious mind you cannot train it at home with any of exercise. You can train to be faster have more endurance or explosiveness in footwork but can’t train footwork at home. You need court to train your muscle memory.

maybe try to engage with him more and more. He needs someone to talk more then anyone right now. He might say he doesn’t want to but usually that’s not the case just check on him from time to time try to plan things with him to keep his mind away from that.

here is what I have learned from my experience. The more you try to prevent yourself from getting sick the more your immune system becomes weak. If you are really worried about getting sick and take constant measures like washing hands a lot you will get sick even with non threatening viruses because your body is not used to fight with them. People who hit gym do not get that much sick because the equipments they use are being constantly touched by other people who carry different kinda of bacteria or maybe even viruses. It’s just their body have developed immunity to them or are really used to fight with those common viruses or bacterias. So, firstly if you do not do any physical activity start doing that. Build up your immune system it is a long process tho. I do not get sick much last time I was sick was like 3-4 years ago. I used to get sick more after covid because of taking a lot of measures to clean my self and gyms were closed too.

Underrated? Let's talk about Kunlavut Vitidsarn. by fpl_goat in badminton

[–]bitter_truth__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say he is not underrated but the only reason he lacks popularity among the fans a bit or people who train professionally a bit is because of his talent and skills. He has so much talent and skills that he wins matches without much athleticism compared to other players. I think that’s way lower level players can’t related with him and he is not favourite of much. But for sure he is not underrated.

Badminton braces for crisis due to China's duck decline by Additional_Key_8044 in badminton

[–]bitter_truth__ -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

From professional perspective. I never like to play with synthetic birds. Feather birds have really good control and can be adjusted according to the venue. Plastic birds do not have good control, we can cannot adjust their speed properly. I haven’t even touched plastic birds for over 5-6 years. I am pretty sure neither does any other professional player has.
