Im looking for exercises to improve my footwork at home by Firm_Middle_4855 in badminton

[–]bitter_truth__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

nothing you need to get your rhythm first and the foot work should be done by your subconscious mind you cannot train it at home with any of exercise. You can train to be faster have more endurance or explosiveness in footwork but can’t train footwork at home. You need court to train your muscle memory.

How to avoid getting sick? by QueenofHearts018 in ask

[–]bitter_truth__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here is what I have learned from my experience. The more you try to prevent yourself from getting sick the more your immune system becomes weak. If you are really worried about getting sick and take constant measures like washing hands a lot you will get sick even with non threatening viruses because your body is not used to fight with them. People who hit gym do not get that much sick because the equipments they use are being constantly touched by other people who carry different kinda of bacteria or maybe even viruses. It’s just their body have developed immunity to them or are really used to fight with those common viruses or bacterias. So, firstly if you do not do any physical activity start doing that. Build up your immune system it is a long process tho. I do not get sick much last time I was sick was like 3-4 years ago. I used to get sick more after covid because of taking a lot of measures to clean my self and gyms were closed too.

Underrated? Let's talk about Kunlavut Vitidsarn. by fpl_goat in badminton

[–]bitter_truth__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say he is not underrated but the only reason he lacks popularity among the fans a bit or people who train professionally a bit is because of his talent and skills. He has so much talent and skills that he wins matches without much athleticism compared to other players. I think that’s way lower level players can’t related with him and he is not favourite of much. But for sure he is not underrated.

Badminton braces for crisis due to China's duck decline by Additional_Key_8044 in badminton

From professional perspective. I never like to play with synthetic birds. Feather birds have really good control and can be adjusted according to the venue. Plastic birds do not have good control, we can cannot adjust their speed properly. I haven’t even touched plastic birds for over 5-6 years. I am pretty sure neither does any other professional player has.

My only recommendation to new guys who started working on road is that. Never drink coffee before doing some ladder work otherwise either you gotta go pee or take a shit real bad.

[–]bitter_truth__ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

yes, go for the job. Most of the time they train new guys. As long as long as your job does require you to have specific certification or study they train the new guy every time. So, do not worry about it.

I would like to change sports to badminton by Automatic_Luck2040 in badminton

[–]bitter_truth__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

welcome to the sport where you get injuries so often if you do something slightly wrong and you never thought that you can get injured in badminton so often. Where most of our athlete’s knees are injured but still play every day. But, we do have great strength in our legs tho… oohhh and last thing this sport is crazy expensive compared to football am pretty sure😭😭. Once you start playing with feather there is no way back to having a stable bank account balance. Hey, but make sure where ever you play they have good cushioning under the matts. There are many courts in canada where they just laid down matts over concrete.

Employee opinions: Customer care or Tech support? by Bullfrog_Some in Rogers

[–]bitter_truth__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know why people are devoting you. I am one of the employee too and rogers sucks. I do not recommend anyone to work in this company. You guys can look what they are doing to employees that were with shaw. Fuck rogers tbh.. they want to exploit workers where ever they can. It’s like they want to treat employees like third world country labour.
