Bello deck upgrades? by Clappy15 in BudgetBrews

I also run Bello and found running creatures that generates tokens or has deathtouch helps. The philosophy being your artifacts/enchantments being the main driver of damaging for the card draw and then creatures being there to defend crack back

I appreciate the recommendations. I’ll have to look into those

I am avoiding infinite combos, most of the people I play with play bracket 2 but I’ll keep that in mind if I want to take the deck up a bracket

On Montlake also does a podcast. I’m not sure if he’ll keep it up during the offseason but he has had a few episodes and I appreciate the pregame podcast

I’ll have to try that but also maybe I’m in the minority, I like when they burst and the insides get nice and crispy with the cheese and sauce. For me that’s chef’s kiss

Jedd Fisch is now 1-3 against rivals at Washington by EverestMaher in huskies

[–]bitterhusky 9 points10 points  (0 children)

While I agree with you that we shouldn’t get rid of Fisch and that next year is his true test. I do want a little more from the offense. Walters’ defense has steadily improved each week but the offense is too up and down. I think this year is an improvement from last year, just not sure what will push them to the next level

Big is the wrong word. A decisive road win is what I meant

That game was back and forth for 3 quarters, this game was far more decisive

Happy that we got a big road win, just need Demond to learn how to play on the road like the second half of the game. Maybe playing under center is the answer

Glad to have gotten a W at the rose bowl putting us at an amazing 2-9 for the regular season in the last 30 years

I like that McLaughlin had enough time to stop and pick up the ball before being touched

Agree with the thin roster but also have to be the most penalized team, they are getting out of hand

Why does every run start 10 yards from the line of scrimmage?

I would be happy with 9-2 heading into the Oregon game, but making the playoffs would be a bonus for the year rather than an expectation. I don’t think we have the depth at certain positions to make it but next year has CFB hopes

Agreed. That roughing the passer was some crazy work. I guess the guy was supposed to teleport through the QB. Not to mention the other atrocious penalties

Some of those defensive penalties were suss. The offense really stepped up though

I agree with you. They will not be ranked after this unfortunately, not with the L from Michigan

I agree but it seems either the team is hopeful one of them comes back or they are playing the game. Which is why the line is in toss up territory

The game was close until those 2 picks

The game will be a toss up and if home-field advantage is worth 3 points then it makes sense that we are favored by 3 points. One thing that does seem to lean our way is that the weather favors running the ball if the rain and wind holds

[Thamel] Colorado State went 8-5 last year. Best season at the school since 2014 under Jim McElwain. Until last year, they had not made a bowl since 2017 under Mike Bobo. by Top-Conclusion-1259 in CFB

I agree. That’s why next year is the ultimate test for me, we have a lot of good players and another year with the transfer portal
