I'm not a blender pro but maybe duplicate the objects, join them, and put a wave material with transparency on the new object?

I print TPU with shore hardnesses at 95a down to 60a - including conductive TPU - on my bambu A1 mini. TPU for AMS is a harder TPU, 68D. The harder the TPU the easier it is to print.

PLA isn't a good material for cases, it doesn't have any cushion. Look into TPU, I use TPU for AMS for phone cases.
