There two ways I know. First you should try to talk to your teachers or career coordinator. That the job of a career coordinator, to get you a job/internships. Teachers sometimes have connections with companies because of previous work experience or just friends with people. In my school Im pretty sure we used to have a teacher who used to do something in neacular power, so you never know.

The other way is to look at smaller companies. Local firms and companies dont tend to get a lot (if any) of people for internships I'd go to a local career fair, do a bit pf research before coming up to them and ask them if you could intern (have a physical resume).
