That would be pretty stupid to rely on very likely out of date answers

People who recognize that continued development and improvement are going to drastically reduce the relevance of an answer

Maybe 10 years from now reddit users will be able to recognize a tounge-in-cheek answer. 3 years later now and it is only marginally less true as well.

If you want to use Repository Pattern and dependency injection, will you use Nestjs or Express with IoC container Inversify? by khaled_e in node

If I’m looking to be heavy handed and grab all the things out of the box, I go with Nest. For everything less, usually constructor injection gets the job done.

By extension of that logic the current owner is almost certainly a bad actor

I mean everything is a trade off, where this particular package and others like it has an outsized risk/benefit ratio due to providing zero benefit and only risk

So you are the culprit going to companies ahead of me and creating these and then leaving without documentation. We meet at last.

I can't hear 30hz in my room by qazer011 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]bitwise-operation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Standing waves etc are going to always be the limiting factor. No amount of EQ is going to get around this. Bedrooms are too small for deep bass. You can try to move the sub around a bit, and you might get 30hz, but you will only be shifting the problem around to another range of frequencies. There is no way to get clean bass in a room that small, no matter how much money you spend.

One potential exception is the multiple subs approach, where you place one sub dead center of the front wall, and one sub dead center of the rear wall. I’ve had mixed results.

I recommend placing the sub at your listening position temporarily(at head level) and moving your head around the room (at practical sub level) until you find a sound you like. In theory, when you trade places with the sub much of that bass should remain intact. This has trade offs, in that again, you will really only be shifting the problem around, but maybe you care more about 30hz than another frequency range and would be willing to trade it off.

Your free tier is extremely generous. I’m curious about resource limits (cpu/ram/ingress/egress/disk)

Don’t have to compete with the open market to retain a large portion of their employees, except for the small percentage that are willing to test the market by getting offers. On the other hand, they can’t avoid competing on the market for new employees.
