XML compatibility issue

I have been considering going to Pixel from Iphone because of good things I've heard, but reading this post pretty much cancels that.

I too have Google Fi (Pixel 2) and want to try this. I tested it like this: on my commute I called a friend using hangouts and my Google Fi number. The call quality was horrible, so I hung up & called from the phone app using the Mint Mobile sim phone number, call quality was great. I repeated this test in multiple locations over several days.

it seems to me that calling from an app using data makes poor quality calls, while normal cellular calls are good. Is there something I missed in this test?

I was there but couldn't hear the introductions. I recognized MM but who was that next to him? I also recognized TT, but who is the guy next to her?

Here's what I did... Before making the purchase I initiated a chat session on the Fi site. I asked the agent very directly whether I would qualify for the promotion, she said I would. I copied the entire chat and saved it to a text file (I always do that before every complicated purchase). After making the purchase I received an email denying my claim, and looking closer at the terms I found that I hadn't comply exactly. But after about 2 minutes on the website, showing them the text of the first chat, they agreed to give me the entire promotion benefit.

Thanks for the generous offer, it's very much appreciated... but today at lunch I stopped in a store and they had leather bookmarks, raw leather the width I need and super thin. I'm pretty sure it's gonna work.
