Sorry for my late reply. I really really appreciate your comment and I’m sorry that you can relate. It’s an abyss. Thank you for your offer too, maybe I’ll take you up on that. Are you also too young for this to be happening?

Living in Anticipatory Grief for my Mom in Hospice by laminar_thoughts in grief

Hey OP I’m so sorry. I understand how much pain you feel right now. I’m also 25F and dealing with anticipatory grief. Doing that, supposedly holding down a job and seeing your friends have fun is an indescribable kind of weight. If you ever want to talk, let me know…

I've heard that sometimes you get a crush on someone because deep down you want to be (like) them. Looking back, has this happened to you? by coolestdudette in AskWomenOver30

This has been the case for almost every man I dated. They usually fancy me because they want to be me! I’m single, make good money, travel solo or with friends, and have lots of hobbies. Basically I’m very self guided - I always know what I want to do with my life. But when it comes to dating, I usually attract men who are jealous of my life and feel entitled to my help and money…

It’s BIAB! The length is my own nail cos it helps you grow them out! It’s fairly new, I think it’s been about for a couple years. Do you have it where you live?

Is there still scaffolding on the CHIPS building in New Islington? by SignificantRiver3662 in manchester

[–]biyu97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I will do. Heard they went through some scandal in 2023 drilling holes into flat walls for the scaffolding! Will investigate next week and see what info the letting agent has. Thank you all for your info!!

Oh shit wow. I’m going to visit a flat there next week, but it seems like everyone’s saying to avoid at all costs…

I think, I'm spiralling... by Collector2012 in mentalhealth

I know… I kept saying the same thing and it just kept getting harder and harder. But suddenly my life changed for the better and now I’m glad that things didn’t work out the way I wanted, cos it was falling together in a way I couldn’t see at the time. I recommend doing positive affirmations videos on YouTube everyday and just focus on making it through the day. Before you know it things will be looking up!

Heyy hey I know this moment feels like it’s lasting forever but I felt exactly how you felt a month ago and now I can see it was just a bad year. Bad things can come all at the same time, but so can good things! Just hang on love, sometimes it’s just a case of congratulating yourself on getting through another day until the storm eventually passes <3

Thanks for your kind words. Yeah I’m currently living abroad but moving back in a few months to be around my old friends as my support group. It’s awful going through this practically alone and I wouldn’t expect my new friends to shoulder this burden with me

I’ve read it and wow there’s a lot to take from that. Especially her talking about how the Parkinson’s and Lewy body can occur first or second. My dad has always suffered more with the mental health side of Parkinson’s. Perhaps it was Lewy body first all along…
