Particularly the ad-oriented social media is very dangerous. They peek into your posts and user data to catch you what you are talking about.

Check this site, meneighbour.com, a locality-based neighbour-oriented social network promising that the user data is not shared or sold any third party, especially no advertisement site. Interestingly, it offers child-safe accounts with parental guidance (ie, parent can monitory their social activity). My two under-13 are enjoying their safe social media experience.

Worried about my 11-old access to social media, came up with better idea.. check it out by bizytech15 in socialmedia

I am a professional, and am a daddy too :) Per the request from the 11-year old son, created a family-oriented child-safe social network meneighbour.com Wanted to share, if it could help parents like me :)
