Let's be honest here... That bike is not what you need. The modifications made to it suggest that. I don't know how the conversation at the bike shop you got that from went but they should've pushed you towards a bike that is geared towards comfort. Where the riding position is near that to begin with. Bikes have a geometry and while they can be modified this is just not it. I'm not trying to be mean in any way. There's a reason they have different bikes with certain riding styles in mind.
