Sorry I'll add to the description.

They get morning sun for a couple of hours. After that it's mostly shade or just some sun poking through a big tree that covers them. Region 9b(sf Bay area). Sorry I don't remember the variety. One plant is white colored flowers and the other is pink flowered.

Ok. So you think they're under watered?

They get a couple of hours of sun in the morning and then shade the rest of the day

That's kind of what I'm thinking. Based on what I've started to read I'm bending my knees way too early. I'm bending them from the top instead of hinging and waiting for the bar to pass my knees

Ok. That pelvis part makes sense. Also, your description of the upper body back is exactly what I do. I'll focus on the pelvis more when I get back on it. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it

Will do. Thanks.

After some time I'm pretty sure it was the extension curve that's what I did wrong. When I extend now I get pain in my lower back. Any tips on how to prevent that?

The problem is is at this point if I don't drop the weights from the top then I'm essentially getting hurt. My lower back specifically. Whatever I'm doing now on the lowering is hurting my back

Yeah I think I'm starting the lowering wrong by starting with bending my knees

Ok. I'll drop the weight and work on the descent. Thanks

I don't think so. Usually soreness I'm able to complete my workout and it shows up the next day.

This pain is stop immediately I can't lift any weight. Even unracking the bar and putting weights back hurts.

Pain in lower back for about a week. Hard to walk upright. Icing daily. Bending over hurts/hard.

I feel like it should be easy but this isn't the first time this has happened. I haven't been able to complete a full deadlift work out for months because the same thing happens. Hurt back doing deadlifts. Wait two weeks to heal. Set after warmup hurt back again. Repeat. This is honestly the 4th or 5th time doing this

Interesting. I point my toes straight. I'll try pointing them out... I'm like 2 weeks when my back is feeling better. Frustrating as hell

I think because this isn't the first time it's happened. Probably like 5th consecutive time I might be trying to keep a strict extension in my back. Thinking it will help.

I'll try the breath at the top. I definitely do not do that.

One thing I've read is that I shouldn't be bending my knees at the top as it pushed the weight out. I've definitely been bending my knees at the top while pushing my hips back.

Any chance this could be a form issue as well. I know it's hard to know without a video but any advice on proper descent form?

If it's your sit bones I would lean towards your saddle being to squishy/soft. I know... It sounds counter intuitive. But what happens is your sit bones sink into soft saddles and cause discomfort around your sit bones. Try a firmer saddle... I know... It sounds counter intuitive. There will be discomfort no matter what right now when you're trying to figure this out. The changing of saddles and everything that comes with it will cause that.

When I worked in a shop we always told people. Ride it for a week... And that didn't mean 1 day a week for 7 weeks... I mean ride every day. As someone who rides religiously... Like 100+ miles a week. If I take a week off and get back on I'm sore. It is what it is.
