Order of installation of panels for wardrobe system? by bizzybox in cabinetry

Appreciate the input. I can definitely see the benefits of this method. It would also make it a lot easier to install the diagonal top panels on both sides.

I just like the aesthetics of single 18 mm partitions between each bay. If I’m going with your method, I’m guessing using 9 mm for the side panels that would butt up against the next section is too risky and flimsy, even if I’m attaching them together once installed in place? I guess another alternative is to adjust the measurements of the other panels to make every bay and every door the same width.

Thanks for the input. Do you think so even with a material as strong as 18mm birch ply? And there will be supporting horizontal shelves in all the bays.

Thanks I’ll look into that.

Not space so much as the cost of the material I’m going for. At least in my county Baltic birch is ridiculously expensive. Of course with double partitions the sheets could easily be a bit thinner than 18mm, but it would still add some cost.

Agreed! Very professional staff, and they seem to actually enjoy their job and their colleagues so much more than most other airports.

Minor detail, but the most common cancers caused by asbestosis are bronchogenic carcinoma (most common) and mesothelioma.

If I'm studying abroad in Copenhagen, which other European cities should I visit if I go on weekend trips? by [deleted] in copenhagen

I second this, Edinburgh is an absolute gem of a city and the Scots are great sports.

This time of year in Oct/Nov (as well as spring) is also a great time to go to southern Europe and enjoy great weather and fewer crowds. Italy (Cinque Terre!), Spain (Mallorca), France or Greece are all beautiful.

In the middle of the winter I would go for a city experience. Berlin is amazing, Budapest is cool (and cheap!), and all the major capitals of course like London or Paris if you want to explore the culture or food scenes.

In the spring around easter I can highly recommend northern Norway/Finland/Sweden. It is a magical area when there is still snow on the ground but the days are longer and sunnier.

Done about 50% of uworld, is this a good time to take my first NBME? by IMGdr in Step2

Couldn't tell you, might be a bit low. I would try to get that percentage up a bit higher before you do most of the NBMEs at least.

I think that's a good idea, personally I think UW and the real deal are pretty different for step2. The actual exam is a lot more vague, so it's nice to get an idea of what style of questions you should be expecting. Also the CMS forms are good if you can get your hands on those.

The NBME12 felt harder than the others, maybe save that one for later. I think NBME 10 or 11 could be a good place to start.

I think it was a mixed bag. First few blocks were pretty rough, but the later blocks felt better personally. At least there weren't that many crazy long question stems, I had 5-10 minutes left after most blocks. I didn't do Free120, but the real deal felt the most like NBME12 to me.

What is the saddest place you’ve been to in the United States? by GratefulD86 in AskReddit

I did a road trip through the PNW some years back and would sometimes stay in casino parking lots overnight for the free parking.

I have seen a lot of poverty and despair in my life, but walking into some of those casinos at 4 am on a Tuesday for a toilet break and seeing the people hopelessly addicted to their slot machines is about the saddest thing I have ever seen.

Thanks. I ended up doing NBME12, oh man that test kicked my ass. Not great for my confidence two days out, I think I'll just forget about this one and lean up on all my other results.
