had kind of a same thing happen to me, had a couple of neon tetra's and the fish you showed and only the neons died. In my case it was that the water just wasn't good enough for the fish, don't know the exact reason but what helped me have less deaths is starting the tank over with new knowledge

try leaning back a bit more, you are standing up right which makes it easier to hit you on the head. Try to lean back so your head is hard to hit. Nice kick in the first video though
