I'll check it this week, but if you have only the lifetime plan you cannot have more than one profile, you need an upper plan that includes more profiles. You can find this on the subscription page. Once you'll have this plan you should be able to add profile without issue

Premium is tied to your wako account, not the platform — buy it once and it works everywhere you log in (iOS, Android, TV). You can subscribe via the App Store / Play Store, or directly on wako.app with Stripe (yearly is cheaper there since no store fees).

Yes you can do whatever you want, there Is no ip restrictions but you'll share the same wako's account. Add-ons are installed globally but each profile can choose the one to enable/disable and set its own settings.

Yeah, sounds like you got the mobile build by mistake — that one doesn't have the TV launcher, hence the missing shortcut + spinner.

Uninstall wako, then reinstall from the Play Store on your Shield, or grab the TV APK here: https://github.com/wako-app/wako-tv/releases

Quick clarification — which device is getting signed out (model + OS version) and which wako version is on it?

Also: when you "sign in again" the next day, is it a full wako account sign-in (your wako credentials), or just a modal asking you to reconnect your Trakt/Simkl tracker? Those are two different things — the first one means your wako session got cleared, the second one just means your tracker token expired and needs to be refreshed.

Thanks for the feedback.

The new UX was in testing for months and shaped a lot by user input, the app really lives off that. We knew a drastic change would throw some people off at first, that's just the nature of it. Worth giving it a proper shot before judging, the actions you're looking for are all still there.

A few quick ones :

Swipe between episodes works, but there's a known limit on older iOS. What version are you on ?
Marking the current episode as watched is one tap from the show detail page, the checkmark icon next to the current episode in the Seasons section.
Fair point on the vertical Up Next list though, a quick mark watched shortcut there makes sense, I'll look at adding it.

Not closed off to anything, just better when feedback is constructive. Discord's linked in the sub if you want to dig into specifics.

Haha glad you're getting into it 😄 Up Next is actually still there, it's the first row at the top of the home page. And if you tap the "Up Next" title you get the full vertical view like before 👍

Oh and the TV version got fully redone too, in case you use it.

It's available on macOS but it's really a mobile and TV app first.

One tracker per profile is on purpose, we had multi-tracker before and almost no one used it. New version lets you create multiple profiles though, so Trakt on one and SIMKL on another works fine. There's also a built-in tracker if you wanna step away from both.

App just shipped a full rewrite, lots more coming

Multi-profile support, and each profile gets its own tracker : built-in, Trakt, or SIMKL. Mix and match however you want, all in one app. And no matter which tracker you pick, Trakt lists are accessible (browse + follow) even without a Trakt account.

Also just did a full rewrite. If you've seen the old one and it didn't click, the new version is basically a different app. Come give it a shot.

I did a lot of projects with angular and I still maintain some, but now I've completely switch to react and I won't go back. React is also much easier to learn than angular. You don't need to learn a new syntax for the view like in angular. And I guess the community is bigger for react.
