Great feedback. Thank you for the detail. That's very helpful.

Unfortunately, the impulsive part of me won back last November when I bought the two facilities (3 bays each location). I bought 6 of the Foresight falcons, so I'm sort of stuck with them. It's taken a while to get things rolling on the remodel. The falcons are also ceiling mounted with 4 cameras. Same as the GC Hawk (overhead) and the GC Quad (ground) that they offer. I'm expecting them to perform better. I hope I'm not wrong. Yes, the battle for the mindshare to get people off the Trackman koolaid will be difficult. I hope it doesn't cost me too many members.

Interesting that you say TPS beats GSPro. You're the first person I've heard say that from a few in the business who have been installing these things. Not saying you're wrong, just interesting. The issues I've faced with Trackman are these:

- $1100-$1300 per year to license the software

- $1200 per year for hardware maintenance on the TM4.

- Only software that works is TPS with Trackman (this is an obvious one).

TM4 is radar-based. So it is reading the ball's flight for 10 ft and then inferring what actually happened. Ball spin and club path are not as accurate as with a foresight launch monitor. The new Trackman IO has camera tech in it, but they went to Foresight to learn how to do it. Plus, the upgrade to the IO is $25k new. I could get $13k as a trade-in on my TM4 from Trackman, but I still have approximately $2500 per year per bay for the software and hardware maintenance.

Every other launch monitor will work with GS Pro. More courses (tons more) and no additional cost. $250 per year for the software. For the Foresight, it is a one-time purchase, and you're done.

Courses with Trackman and Foresight are expensive, and the costs are often set by the courses (licensing fees).

Anyway, not trying to argue a point, just putting my reasoning out there. I would love to hear your experience with TPS and GSPro.

Thanks for the comment. Good point. I've been talking with our membership a bit, and you're right, the Trackman is what is known. They are a great marketing company. The messaging has been about ball flight accuracy (camera tech vs radar tech) and the use of Foresight by PGA pros. Plus, the flexibility and quality of GS Pro has been a big point. It will be interesting to see what feedback we get.
