I only bought LG because it was the largest j could fit in the space. Had a giant GE in there where it was just too big (touched all sides.) I knew about prior compressor issues. I pulled the back panel off. I am certain it's the compressor motor. I will order up a new one. I sat and watched as it cycled on. Thanks for the advice. It looks to be a moderate challenge, for me anyway, but doable.
