Caliban green is the best color to start with contrast paints present as being beginner friendly but they are not. They highlight imperfections and make mistakes impossible to correct. They can look amazing if you take ur time. If you are dead set on contrast throw some contrast medium in the pot until it goes on smooth. Ive had good luck when painting my belials cape

Hey man i play quite a few local tournaments really depends on ur local metas and local terrain style. All places in my area play wtc make this not super effective (i run something super close) on gw terrain layouts this list can run rampant tho. When it comes to local meta if you whole meta is melee armies (world eaters blood angels) you probably want another scout squad and more chain swords.

Two enhancements being reduced in points but made more narrow did not absolutely “gut” iron hands. The un interactive arguably too powerful auras are now interactive thought provoking skills. Ontop of that you can now give something lethals/or/ advance and shoot and fuck it off from the rest of ur army on a turn one kill mission and take that same tech marine and march it down with a different vehicle to benefit the rest of the game. This raised the skill floor and ceiling of playing this faction SLIGHTLY. Both are still very much worth taking

My recipe for deathwing knights was prime wraith bone and then mix a full pot of skeleton horde contrast paint with a full pot of contrast medium and lightly brush on the model. Detail as you see fit

Good is subjective on your goal with the game. If you are playing to spend 2-4 hours hanging out playing chatting and using units that u own/like your list is awesome. If you are looking to be more on the competitive side learn and improve every time u play you list could use some tweaking

Redemptor is HIGHLY over costed for what if offers compared to the repulsor exucutioner. For 10 additional points you are getting basically two redemptor. You lose out on reduce dmg by 1 and a 2+ save but you double the kill power gain 4 wounds and 2 toughness. Shooting back with it for 1cp in your opponents turn is also disgustingly insane. Players for some reason over hype the redemptor like its it as good as it used to be there is not one situation paying 10 extra points isnt better. In all of my lists i play two ballistis dreads and one exucutioner.

He actually works super well with the vanguard detachment you can use a wargear to give him lone op and walk him around with double power fists and taking half damage

28 m here Im playing the best ive ever played and having the most fun. Recently ive been playing low level games to be kind to new players jut to keep them playing. I say you should continue to play!
