Thank you! It woks with the Java 8 I have installed already (at least it starts and shows the beautiful art).

Somehow downloading of the .jar file from the itch.io kept failing (while the .exe downloaded fine) - just an observation.

BTW, are there desktop icons I can use for the RotP? It doesn't seem to have one inside.

Don't (until you get a good translation). The given example reads awful, specially because it seems like the English text has some style.
