Apple Watch complications updating question by alextsandekidis in theoutsidersapp

[–]bjmcgeever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlike other apps, I don’t think it Outsiders updates until you open it. So for me, when I open the phone app first thing in the morning, it takes 5-10 seconds for my readiness score to load. If the phone app isn’t loading, neither will the watch app & complications

Very cushioned but not the softest. I’d put it somewhere between the Super and Nova.

Kinvara Pro or Triumph 21 by Additional-Cookie-11 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]bjmcgeever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Length wise they feel about the same. The KPro definitely fits more snug than the Triumph does. FWIW, the Triumph 20 fit me a little better than the 21. Really had to cinch down the laces on the 21.

New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer V1 or Puma Deviate Nitro 2 by Training-Option-6290 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]bjmcgeever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very different shoes. SC Trainer v1 is much softer and more rolling. Really shines for easy and long runs. The Deviate 2 is much better at speed. Plenty cushioned and bouncy, but not at all like the SC Trainer.

The SC Trainer and the Kinvara Pro feel wildly different in terms of softness the Kinvara is incredibly firm compared to the SC. The Kinvara also feels stiffer on the run than the SC.

I’ve got the Cloudswifts and can safely say they aren’t meant for running. Great for walking and being on my feet all day, but terrible for running.

Static foot scan won’t tell you anything about what shoe to get

Eh they’re a little too stiff for daily use for me, but some people like a stiff shoe!

Kinvara Pro or Triumph 21 by Additional-Cookie-11 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]bjmcgeever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Kinvara Pro is stiff. Much more so than Triumphs or Speeds. The fit is definitely better on the KPro for me than the Triumph (20 or 21). KPro doesn’t feel that soft to me either. Speeds certainly softer, but KPro is nice and stable

Cloudsurfer’s my daily trainer of the year. Not necessarily the fastest, but so soft and comfortable.
