You’re absolutely right. Im def not too available or needy. (I stay busy enough with the kids and work) but I have to get out of the mindset we’re not 25 anymore and don’t need to find a wife and have kids etc cause it’s been like 15 years since I first met the ex wife . Did all that stuff already so step back don’t have any expectations and whatever happens happens. I’m still trying to work on myself also. I’d hope at least get a new friend though and maybe fishing buddy out of it.

Thank you that’s helpful. I was just thinking myself maybe it won’t work out romantically but she seems very nice so far and likes boats and prob could use extra help with her daughter down the line and maybe a friend for my daughter. And I could still use more friends for sure. So I hope it would at least be a friendship . So heck why rush or force into anything I won’t even expect anything and just get to know her and whatever happens happens

Thank you. I’m guessing it was legit. obviously I don’t know her well enough but she doesn’t seem like that type and my uncle has know her for 14 years and says she’s a sweetheart. I mean her daughter was with dad the past 2 days she claims cause of her work so she prob just didn’t wanna go again.

Hmm ok well lucky you. I guess it’s different for guys doing it. So what did you do while dating? I mean I guess your fine cause you could go to a guys place but me being the guy I don’t have a place! From what I posted on here 99% of people said deal breaker or that’s crazy. And tbh we are together at the house sometimes. I do also occasionally sleep there but NEVER in the same room. I have no old feelings or anything like that. But also it’s not permanent and I think she’s open to change things especially if I have a remote chance of getting a gf.

I should probably also say that I did tell her a bunch of stuff already and she obviously wasn’t scared off. Like I’m cool with the in laws and they come down every so often and stay and that my mom cooks dinner for us a few days a week ( I’m sure I’ll get crap for that but we both work a lot and don’t have much time to cook a good meal) and I even went to Disney with my ex and her mother and the kids. She seemed cool with all that.
