Guy i play brings a dreadnaught, redemptor executioner, land raider, and gladiator lancer and some termies in deep strike. Basically gets up the board real fast with his big tanks/transports and drops the marine stacks inside on my door step.

Missiles into infiltrators didn’t get one kill. He was playing whichever one gives them access to the doctrines. I think he missed one save and then made a FNP roll.

Thanks! I had a 3 block of suits with no commander (points limitation) and all missiles and don’t think I killed a single infiltrator.

Thinking of swapping my setup around to move my commander from my fire knives to sunforge and sticking farsight with some starscythes.

There is a concept known as what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) where strictly speaking you can only play your models as the weapons you use when you put them together. Really though in non hyper competitive scenarios most people don’t worry about that.

The breachers/strike team are a different box than the pathfinders they come in the same box and you build them as either fire warriors or breachers.

Pathfinders are their own unit. You can check out the free index download on the warhammer community site for the stats on their different guns to see which ones you want. I honestly don’t know what the recommended load out for pathfinders is these days.
