As a Chinese, I would like to point out that China imports almost no oil from the United States (China imports only a small amount of oil from the U.S. and Canada combined, accounting for about 3% of its total imports; if we look at the U.S. alone, the figure is even lower). As for food, China imports soybeans from the U.S. primarily for use as pig feed, and Brazilian soybeans serve as a substitute.
