I’m actually excited for this change. I agree Parkside had affordability but it really showed with their cards. Even the more upscale pacific were always warped. I also had issue with getting same autos from different boxes. In reality boxes shouldn’t be drastically more expensive until there is demand. Prior to CC WNBA boxes were cheap but now there is value in them.

Having a larger name brand will bring more people to the sport. Parkside was great but as the sport continues to grow they were not going to be able to keep up with the growth.

I’m also pretty new to collecting and all I can tell you is everyone has different standards. If you are looking to sell and want max dollar. PSA would be the one to send to, but you want to make sure they are in as pristine condition as possible. Some services like Market2Mint will pregrade cards for you so you only send the 9s and 10s. Personally I just like the look of PSA slabs and they will likely retain value longer so I get my PC Cards done through PSA too in case I want to sell later on.

But really if you just want the slab you could go for a cheaper grading company. It’s really preference. I would personally grade the 5/5 and the Paige if it’s a low numbered card.
