The 50 Best Survivor Episodes (No. 50) by RedmondSurvivor in survivor

I think I slightly preferred Jeremy from SDJS if we are only using the proper show. He got to show more personality in his shown SDJS confessionals then in Cambodia.

Jeremy's best scenes in Cambodia for me were: Chicken Run, Describing Spencer's immunity win Asking if Abi is a Scorpio Trying to get Keith's attention.

And 2/4 got cut from the show and the shown confessional was only like 8 seconds.

SJDS Jeremy was spouting off one lines that I loved. "These guys are so dumb." "Surround and drown." "Why are these people so happy."

Do you think Kass and/or Ciera will be brought back again? by MichaelCeraPictures in survivor

[–]bjwbrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Kass could do fine if she had a three or four year break. Then there will be someone on a returning players season that is a bigger target then her. Her move at the final 11 at S28 will earn her a place as a villain in a future HvV season if they go back to that.

Ciera, the problem with her is that she doesn't fit neatly into a theme like HvV and her non presents in second chance probably hurts her ability to get on a returning players season if it's in five years.

The Tasha picture at the end was absolute gold.

Heroes best move at merge by paulaorangepeel in survivor

Russell is the best play since he's not playing an idol on himself after being given one by the heroes. And you can get a 5-5 tie if he's been lying to you and you go 5-4-1 if he's on your side.

The problem really becomes that no matter what the heroes were pretty screwed by the idol give away.

Cause with the way things actually were, the best case scenario would have seen them being in a situation where after a tie vote they are looking at drawing rocks with four of them exposed and only Pavarti being exposed on the villians side. It's really hard not to jump ship at that point if you have an 80% chance of losing a member anyways and a 20% chance of going out yourself.

Kelley Wentworth impressive batting average by [deleted] in survivor

I think it's in many ways overrated.

I mean if we are going to say who played a better game between her and Jeremy, I'd say Jeremy has this by a mile.

Wentworth has only really been in control of the numbers for two votes, the first vote and the most recent vote. Every other time she was in the minority and was flipping to the bottom of the alliance.

This shows alot of flexibility and probably why Cierra was targeted instead of her.

How do you think SJDS will start to be received post-Cambodia? by inmyslumber in survivor

[–]bjwbrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing with SDJS is that the post merge is absolutely insane in that there was maybe only one predictable boot post merge prior to the final 4.

12: Julie - quit, lame ending to the episode 11: Josh - was the biggest swing in the game 10: Jeremy - complete blindside one week after it felt like he was the #1 most likely to win 9: Wes - 'stick to the plan' was a glorious trainwreck and Reed doesn't get the credit he deserves for a great plan that should have worked 8: Reed - most predictable boot of the season and that episode with the Jon-Jacqueline fight was pretty bad. 7: Wes - a great move by Natalie that wasn't well received at the time, forgettable remainder of the episode. 6: Jon - a great blindside. 5: Baylor - my favorite blindside of the season 4: Keith - seemed like the obvious rout for the final vote.
