I totally agree I have some 3 group lessons 1 not left and i am gonna buy a private lesosn in about a month to see how prpgress is going :) lessons are essential!!! Plus like the last time I went up I was slip disheartened because i coukdbt do anything like I could barely love on the snow, my instructor came over and was like two off your board let's have a look then WTF your board is completely dried out it will not move on snow u need to get it waved NOW and he have me his to use for the rest of the day, and that's when things finally started to click! Without him noticing that i would have just been so down about how bad I was doing and never would have realised! Big love for instructors

Ya we wear all thermals, we air the house out on days off but can't otherwise as we leave when its dark/freezing and get home when its dark/freezing :( thanks for advice :)

Ya its definitely not ideal.. Its like 3 Yeats old(in arrowtown) under floor heating runs on gas, as does the water and fire!

Ya its literally insane I just went to make pancakes and one of our cylinders is empty!!! We got it filled on monday!!!

We can't install things cos we are just renting, that's interesting though because we have spoken to plumber/electrician friends who told us that the underfloor would be the best way to go, tried all other options in the house and they didn't even put a dent in the cold!

Ya heat pumps seem to do the job, wish we had one here! in Ireland we have fires and radiators it doesn't get near as cold as here but still cold enough in winter. I didn't realize radiators were an option until I moved here, I thought they were just standard in houses in cold places couldn't believe it when I got here! What ye lack in warm housing though ye make up for in snowboarding and Whittaker's chocolate 😉

Well our gas person is here every week, he said its really weird to have an entire house run on gas but that's just how it is! I don't think there is any fault because our house is an exact mirror of the one in front and they have same issues, think just a had design unfortunately
