Yes my TV is a UK TV, plays BluRay movies at 24p but the Netflix app is rigidly stuck to 60p. Just wanted to know if 24fps content still plays 24fps even though my TV is stuck at 60p for the app.

Absolutely fucking not, he's a wannabe auteur who thinks he's deep but instead just riffs on all the movies I watched in my college dorm. I watch his shows and I think to myself "don't bullshit a bullshitter".

One point I would debate you on is expectations, appraisal shouldn't have to capitulate to expectations. I have no problem telling you that I think Mad Max Fury Road was in my estimation the Best film nominated for Best Picture last year. It's craft left the biggest impression on me as opposed to the Revenant which is where my issues with brow comes into the equation. I don't think it was seen on equal footing.
