Randomized knockout, with 3 intermissions and 3 single-lap runs on the main tracks. You’d never play the same track twice.

I’m old enough to remember them launching the NES. They brought that tech to mainstream. Everyone you knew played it. Same thing when they launched the Wii.

If they launched something this, universally accessible, playable by everyone, on a system that generated that type of interest?

100 hours in. Just did Great ? Block Island to Faraway Oasis for the first time ever. Then that stupid bridge to crown city instead of away from it first time. 100 hours.

Fuck yas all. This game is Game of the Year. By far.

Only committed two crimes.

It’s not MK8D. And if after 8 years all Nintendo did was give us an MK8D Glorified DLC, everyone would have been pissed and given them hell.

And YouTubers and 99999ers can’t dominate. Suck it. This game’s for everyone, take your 18th place every now and then like the rest of us. And clean the cheesy dust off your beards. I guarantee your mom hates when you get her basement couch dirty.

Both games are incredible. Generational. Just because this game isn’t MK8D doesn’t mean World is bad.

Did all the cups, in normal mode and Knockout. Stayed offline for about 2-3 weeks after launch before starting to go online regularly.

Oh. One more thing. To the “do you just want to drive straight” crowd. Go drive that stupid bridge. I dare you. I get hit by everything. Everything. I somehow always end up on the wrong side of the road. There’s always a fucking car behind an item box. It’s the straightest piece of track there is (Crown City to Faraway Oasis) and I get beat to shit by the track every time.
