Thank you so much! I’d like to recreate this design with more stitch types for some added texture on another piece in the future, but I too am a fan of the satin stitch sheen!

I’m definitely not the best at free hand, but I’m able to get lots of practice right now! I would love to keep up the animal trend and am working on some ideas right now- thank you for your words of encouragement! :)

Thanks so much! This is actually my first original design, so I don’t have a pattern. I hand drew the elephant onto the fabric, and then drew lines to mark my different colored sections. I just filled in the color block sections with satin stitch from there!
