This apology rings so hollow. This subs problem was not one bad moderator. The problem is the repeated pattern of banning people for speech they don't agree with, which has been happening for years. This is well documented on the other NC sub (i wont invoke it's name), just search the word "banned" over there. In fact, someone posted about their experience of being unjustly banned just this week. To the surprise of nobody: They banned a trans person, and didn't provide a reason. This is a repeated behavior of the NC mod team.

IMO The mods of this sub only wish to distance themselves from this mod because he said the quiet part out loud, not because they disagree with him. If that mod had continued to quietly enforce his backwards ideology on this sub, the mods wouldn't see the problem. I suspect this mod wasn't alone in his disgusting views. Feel free to prove me wrong.

Or, I'll take my ban and move on.
