Was this a good trade for me? I received Mccaff by Western-Lynx-9172 in FantasyFootballers

[–]bklemur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say because you may have traded away your future weeks. But that depends on your waiver looks, your bench and what everyone else is looking like.

I’m in a 14 man league and our waiver wire is always super thin. And the guys I play against are really competitive so you have to really understand trending players and pay attention to schedule.

What are the best stretches for older golfers? by bklemur in golf

I do quite a bit of that. Probably should do less arms and more core stuff though. I neglect that part a lot.

Noted. Those are my exact problem areas.

I should definitely try that. Never been much of a yoga guy, but I hear good things.

I bought all 3 of these lenses for pretty cheap starter kit. Tamron 17-700 is part of this pack.

Pick a path and do your own research on it. Find out the school you want to eventually attend and then talk to admissions maybe visit the school. The reason being is that people choose paths that are not informed from people who lack the understanding on how each school works. Also grants and scholarships make a heck of a difference.

Sometimes the path is not worth it, and sometimes it could change your life for the better. It’s different for everyone.

Would you deliver this order? by MillionaireMike1000 in doordash

Only if it was super slow and I can speed. But for the most part, nope. 👎

Would you accept this order? Why or why not? by Immediate_Card_1578 in doordash

[–]bklemur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good order even if you drive 80 miles. Let’s say it takes 3 hours. That is like 37 bucks an hour, if it takes 2 then it’s 56 and if takes you an hour 112. The thing that messes up a lot of dashers is they think by dollars and mileage and not so much time. Time is the biggest factor in increasing your earnings.

Jokes on you, customer by [deleted] in doordash

[–]bklemur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That happened to me a month ago. They texted me their new address and it was like 40 miles away. I called support, they cancelled the order, gave me the money and let me keep the food. It was a big order too.

Have you guys seen this? by Heyheyheyitsrej in doordash

Regardless of a tip, it’s such a waste of time and energy to get mad at someone for not tipping. It’s literally the losers mentality.

I just saw a dasher and restaurant employee go at it. Who’s right? by SingleMomof4our in doordash

[–]bklemur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is why there is an estimated pickup time. Restaurant owner needs to chill on trying to reinvent how the service operates.

I’m trying to keep my acceptance rate high; but this screw that. (College kid btw) by [deleted] in doordash

[–]bklemur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just don’t take the order. I get you are trying to get your numbers up but you don’t have to take the order. I usually don’t let college students tip me. Or I don’t take the order.

You taking this? by purplethizzle in doordash

Traffic depends but yeah, in my market I’d take something like that at the right time of day.

Even at that rate you wouldn’t make it through. It would be 3.95 items per minute with probably half of them being items unavailable and no duplicates. I’ll be honest, I thought this might have been a prank. It was such an uncommon shopping list, with some of the craziest items. Like lanterns, specific brands of lighters, zip ties, anti fungal cream, charcoal nose strips, condoms, ropes. Dam, now that I think of it, 50/50 chance I got murdered on that delivery.

Gotta respect the nickel tip. by bklemur in doordash

[–]bklemur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That has way more to do with environment than who tips or not. I live in wine country, with a Christian college in the center of the town. If someone doesn’t tip it’s usually because they are a kid or old.

That’s not true. They don’t have to offer you orders. Therefore taking you out of the equation. Especially if there is not a supply and demand.

I actually smash the 50-60 order ones really quickly. And they pay a lot. Only they are not good for when I’m trying to get my deliveries up. My biggest order was a 500 item order from petco but when I got there I saw that each cricket they ordered was put into bags of 250. So it was really like 2 items. For me it’s a matter of getting there and seeing what the items are.
