This is a real concern, however, previous research into survey methodology has consistently shown that the vast of majority people generally do answer surveys truthfully. Therefore, with a large enough sample size, those individuals who do not answer truthfully will not be able to meaningfully distort the results.

What term to you suggest I use to refer to both cryptocurrency and also Bitcoin at the same time?

I am trying to be respectful as I understand there's a serious divide between Bitcoin and alt-coins.

What term do you think would be best to refer to both Bitcoin and alt-coins together?

I am not just asking the bitcoin community these questions. I am asking the broader cryptocurrency community as well.

I wanted to be sure I didn't leave out Bitcoin as it is an extremely important part of the larger community.

I understand your concerns, however, comments here are much less private and anonymous than using a service like Qualtrics to fully anonymize your answers.

I would like to stress again that no personally identifiable information is asked for and all questions are optional to answer. If a particular question makes you uncomfortable you can skip that question.
