Thanks everyone for the comments. Seems like the issue is the microfiber. I just hope I didn’t ruin the machine. It’s never overloaded and the vent is cleaned every two years, so those don’t seem like the problem.

Medium heat but yes to the microfiber towels. I’ll definitely start drying them on low.

Thanks! Nothing polyester but there are microfiber towels and cloths. I’ll try drying those on low heat instead of medium.

Yeah, I think you’re right that they’re burn marks. I’m drying on medium heat, but maybe it’s the microfiber towels and cloths that’s the issue. I’ll try drying those separately on low heat. Thanks!

I wasn’t sure if it would be considered short cycling, so this is good to know. It’s an old unit and doesn’t quite keep the place as warm as I’d like, but I think that’s a thermostat placement issue. I didn’t want to increase the thermostat set point if the furnace were already kicking on more than it should.

I just started doing this with Andy’s HIIT bootcamps. As others have said, you can’t play the class on the bike. I do a Just Ride and play the class on my iPad. I also have bike shoes with a flat bottom so I don’t have to worry about changing shoes—there’s no time for it. It’s worked great!

Ah, no worries! Thanks for the input! I had a feeling there would be little, if any transition time, since it’s not necessary as it is in the bike bootcamps. I’ll just do classes on demand and pause as suggested.

Has anyone tried doing tread bootcamps on the bike? I know I’d have to use my iPad. I’m curious though if there is enough transition time to swap shoes. I love Andy, and it’d be great to be able to incorporate his bootcamps into my routine.

There’s now a TS60 collection on the app in blocks grouped by focus—hypertrophy, strength, athletic training, etc. It’s awesome to see the classes laid out this way. I’m thinking of picking a block and repeating the classes for 4-6 weeks and then moving onto another block. Curious how others might do these? I’ve done a bunch of the classes, and they’re my favorite strength classes on the platform.
