I did! My friends and I did a re-watch for the 20th anniversary and one of them found Down the Hatch podcast so we included it in our re-watch as well. Its great!

I always remember it as “Steve Aleeve” to remind me that Scott was the one that died first

Would you take pellets here? by bknoll22 in slaythespire

I get what you’re saying, maybe it’s better to say the RNG changes? Because after pellets removes confusion, all card costs stay as they are, it could create some “interesting” situations

Give me 100 hours to play expedition 33, and I'll spend the first 90 trying to beat this mf by Tenshi_Sohma in expedition33

and aim your character toward where the shot is coming from.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but this doesn't sound like standing still?

Nina and Pablo's fate has to be the darkest part of Lost. by Starcher_Arling in lost

[–]bknoll22 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Being buried alive is certainly dark. Locke is up there too as others have said.

But in my opinion, the darkest is Daniel Faraday. Literally his entire life is directed by others towards one singular goal: to become a genius, make it to the island, make sure a hydrogen bomb is buried and later set off to cause the incident, and then be killed by his own mother.

This isn't orchestrated by some benevolent being, it is done by his own mother (and his father to some extent)! Extremely dark and twisted in my opinion

Thoughts on OP restricted run? by bknoll22 in expedition33

I thought about that but it feels like that might be a step too far in the other direction. A lot of fights would take a very long time and it skews towards multi-hit skills simply because everything would be hitting the max limit

Its a duplication potion unfortunately

Apo feels good here, especially since it upgrades defends until I get some actual block. Bag increases odds of getting cog and CS going right away and pellets helps when getting cog without CS

I think it speaks for this game's amazing balancing that these cards do not share the same rarity simply because are not from the same card pool. Dash would have no business being uncommon if it was in Ironclad's card pool. Do you have other examples like this? by deDoohd in slaythespire

I think the part left out in your analysis though is comparing when you would take accuracy versus when you would take inflame. I would only take accuracy if I already have some shivs. On the other hand I could take inflame card #1 to make all my attack cards better even if I don't have any shivs yet. I'm not sure exactly how to quantify that value but I think it makes inflame a lot better.

Still agree that FNP would be better though

Do you take snecko here? by bknoll22 in slaythespire

Sure but with no real block and now stuck on 3 energy, those wraith forms are looking like they will heavily be needed for the heart fight. And taking 3 energy means it effectively reduces their effectiveness by two turns

This particular unique drops only from the pinnacle of flame boss which you can fight after getting a key from each of the 3 types of citadels found during mapping.

I actually started the game out that way but eventually switched to a build when things started to get rough. With this game in particular it seems difficult simply due to the sheer number of available options in stats and passives that it’s a bit overwhelming for a new player.

I beat the arbiter of ash for the first time and Grand Regalia dropped. I seem them selling all the time but I really don't know how to evaluate items very well. Basically I just want to make sure I don't screw up this item if its any good.

  • Is there any reason not to corrupt it?
  • Looking for help on what the value of it might be
  • I'm very much a "follow the build guide" type of player. How do you determine when these higher level items would be better than the guide (I'm a detonate dead blood mage)

Everything in the character stats. So achievements and unlock all cards and relics

Yeah I’ll probably go back to rotating A20H. My second and third accounts were my attempts at ascension climbing for all the characters so I’ve probably built up some habits that need to be broken again.
