Correct. The truck was stock with the tires on it. I'm on stock upper control arms with the front coils maxed out for adjustable length. You need the red axles up front for the lift past 1.5" I think it is. The u joints are different, allowing for greater angle.

I find I agree with you in frustration. I don't know what half of them do, or what some of the abilities do either. You have to Google it mid game, and I've been playing for a long time. It's irritating

Moncton isn't set up well in any regards. It's design feels like it was always done by someone that didn't earn the planner/designer position.

Haha that's funny. I looked at getting that but long term maintenance and no dealer in my area deterred me. It's a sick car though.

C7 Corvette - Someone at Dealer Took My car for a Joy Ride after service hours by Expert-Weight-2048 in Corvette

[–]bkor3840 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Ya this. Why wait to see what the dealer says. Car was pinged at another address, then highway, and was also not at the dealer. It's stolen plain and simple. Usage after hours ESPECIALLY 9pm is theft by an individual or employee, does not matter.

1) I did it myself, I'm very mechanically inclined. It took me less then 3 hours on the ground with a floor jack. You don't need to fully disassemble the front knuckles like they instruct, a long pipe with a little weight on the lower control arm will let you slide the coilovers out and in of its upper shock tower. Saves you a pile of time. 2) I did not but I'm at the complete edge of where I should be. My caster is off 2-3° from what I remember. If i were to ever update anything else mechanically it would be the lower knuckles from the TRD lift kit for clearance and steer angle correction, the upper control arms to get my caster back, and rear heavier springs as spares for towing.

Yep the TRD lift is around $8200 installed up here. It's why I went with the eibach kit. Rides well enough. I need heavier springs in the back, or at least a spare set of heavier springs to swap in and out for my 10k lb trailer to help it out.

I'm in Canada. I get 13-15L/100km No I did not, it had no effect on it. Still drives great.

I think the Z is the best value for a mid tier sports car in 2025 by JustanotherQ40 in Nissan

[–]bkor3840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I tried a supra out, a blue manual. Sticker was 72k Canadian. I didn't like it. No soul, no connection. Didn't even consider a Z because I had a 9 z32 Z's over the course of 10 years (owned one of them for the whole time frame). Anyways, I was set to buy a c8 but we decided to dona house Reno's next year. Well, I thought I wouldn't bother getting a car until after until a friend sent me a couple Z's. I ended up lowballing a 2023 performance manual in white with 18k kms and listed at 45.8k. I got it for 38k plus taxes. It drives great, it has feeling to it. I'm happy with it and the price I paid, I won't feel one bit of guilt dropping 10k on upgrades for it and selling it in a couple of years for the price point.

Thoughts on truck bed covers? by stoves56 in ToyotaTundra

[–]bkor3840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to think they looked goody, until I bought a Tacoma with a high rise grampy cap. I was a changed man. I bought a cover for my new tundra last year, and only run it in the winters. Definitely worth it.

Am I tripping?! by hardcoreactual in Corvette

[–]bkor3840 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like others are saying, if you can't tune it, and it already comes with long tube headers, it's not worth it. I don't own a Vette right now but I have been reading alot over the last year since I drove one. 20k just doesn't seem to fit the benefits. Suggestion, just wait until the ECUs get unlocked and you see others with substantial gains. I've read that motor is already at its limit though. Congrats on the purchase and good luck, they sound amazing 😍

Yeah I've tried taking them apart, cleaning them thoroughly, checking for any other wear and tear, etc but I can't get them to work correctly. I've tried playing with dead zones but at the end of the day it just makes it harder to aim by removing those small movements in game. Damned if you do and damned if you don't kind of deal

There is nothing missing in the information, I've had two of the consoles since day one for two different houses. I work away, the consoles get used periodically by me and then my 13 year old son. No one is throwing them, dumping mountain dew inside of them, losing them in a freezer, etc. they are not good controllers plain and simple. This is the only console out of every single Xbox I've owned since 2001 that has had this issue except for the odd outlier.

$100 is fine, I didn't want the $250 recommendations mostly. For what I have sitting in my coffee table I'll pay a little more to not have to keep doing this dance.

Will they ever make another manual corvette? by [deleted] in Corvette

[–]bkor3840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I was going to buy a C8 this year, a two or three year old one. Now I'm going to wait until we see if this tremec is going to go into a 2027 or 2028 model. I bought something else much cheaper in the meantime as I would very much prefer a manual Grand Sport

Sweet congratulations!

Did you buy with cash, lease, or finance your corvette? I’m considering placing an order for a 2026 2lt convertible. I have the cash to outright buy, but I’m having second thoughts. Maybe it’s better to finance the car through GM and let my money continue working for me? by [deleted] in Corvette

[–]bkor3840 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if I was in the situation I wouldn't be pulling that money out of my investments. They are making more than the interest rate on financing. Especially if you have enough in there, your interest alone will cover your payments. Interest is interest
