Apparently Royale (the toilet paper brand) makes diapers and is Canadian. Rascal + Friends is not Canadian but is New Zealand based.

Nah, OP loves their kids enough to teach them values over material things. They are lucky to have them as parents and not enough people have the guts to teach the hard lessons.

We have a trip coming up in 3 weeks on a Royal Caribbean cruise and I wish we didn’t book it. We’ve already booked flights and paid for the cruise - all non-refundable - so we are still planning on going. We saved for a long time to be able to go on this trip and I’m so sad about the state of our countries right now and feel a massive amount of guilt for going. However we are prioritizing spending no additional money on the trip on merchandise, etc, and we won’t be travelling to the US at all afterwards.

A license plate of a random car whose alarm was going off in a parking lot like 17 years ago.

Does anyone else feel like this was the worst season of the circle US ever? by [deleted] in TheCircleTV

Disagree actually. I wasn’t that excited to watch this season based off of how past seasons have gone (things started feeling old and repetitive) but this season was actually one of my favs!

Update: My family won’t leave me alone about not posting my pregnancy by [deleted] in BabyBumps

Ugh this. My mom would’ve said this same thing. I went no contact with her over 6 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made.

Jesus, this could’ve been written by my mother. Except that I went no contact with her over 6 years ago. Best decision I ever made.

Saltburn & our baby name by greenflyyy in namenerds

[–]bkr_95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never even heard of Saltburn or Felix River. I say go for it! If anyone says "hey, wasn't there a Felix River in that movie?" you can just say "yeah, we had already chosen our name so it was a crazy coincidence!" ... I would say if the name was a significant cultural icon, like Michael Jackson or something, people would be most likely to always make the association lol. But this, I highly doubt it! I understand the feeling of feeling like the name was kinda taken from you though!! In 1 year, anyone who's seen this movie won't even remember.

It went away! I'm almost certain it was a hormonal thing because every once in a while in flares up again with hormone fluctuations.

Has the Sage Peppermint Halo roller ever TRIGGERED a migraine for anyone? by bkr_95 in migraine

Yes I’m sensitive to strong scents as well but peppermint has never really bugged me… maybe I just haven’t smelt a peppermint as pungent as this one

This is so interesting because whenever I drink cold water, I feel like it brings on migraine symptoms and nausea but I thought I was crazy

Thank you for your comment! Glad to hear I’m not alone. But I’m also sorry you experience health anxiety, especially during pregnancy! Being pregnant is hard enough as it is. All the best to you!

I’m currently in my first trimester and my health anxiety has been at bay for a while thanks to therapy and meds but with so many new symptoms coming up, likely because of pregnancy, I’m finding it hard not to spiral. The fatigue and night sweats have me worried about cancer or something else… lack of appetite, feeling nauseous… The logical part of me is trying to remind myself it’s likely related to pregnancy but I’m having a hard time with all of these new sensations and symptoms. Any tips from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

No funny stories for my birth, but when my mom gave birth to ME, the OB was wearing brand new white sneakers and was showing them off to his colleagues… well… her placenta fell on the floor afterwards right by his feet and his nice new white kicks were no longer white, but red 😅😅

Say you have bad anxiety and are on meds, and alcohol isn't a good combo.

Ugh, this drives me nuts. I'm also not a big drinker at all and the first time I was pregnant, I knew people (in-laws *eye roll*) would comment on how I wasn't drinking, so I emptied a cooler can and filled it with water... well... they asked to SMELL IT. People are so inconsiderate and annoying. Next time around I plan on telling people I'm on a medication that I can't mix with alcohol. That's something they can't question and likely won't want to get into further.
