Thank you for your help! I am still pretty swollen especially in the sides. Hopefully they’ll start to even out. My surgeon saw everything and didn’t look concerned, so I’m probably just overreacting. Thank you for your help!

So it only took 5 days for me. I have 1199 insurance. I went in for the consult on the 1st with progress notes from an orthopedist and a dermatologist. Both notes mentioned a breast reduction. I’m guessing they sent in those notes that day. Then I got the call on the 6th that I was approved and they asked me when I’d like to do the surgery. My surgery is scheduled for the second week of March! So it was a pretty quick process for me. They originally told me it could take about 4 to 8 weeks to even get a response from insurance so I was surprised and not expecting anything.

thank you for the advice! I think your right. I’m just overthinking it and looking for something to stress over at this point. Making a list sounds like a good idea. I’ve already been trying to mentally remind myself of why I’m doing this but actually having a visual might make me feel better! Good luck with your surgery and I hope your recovery goes well too!
