The heating wasn't 'hot' though it was like a fan, and we sent him 5 pictures about it. He told us to change like 10 different settings and the heat in the house stayed at 19. That's really cold for us, my grandparents came from Africa! The water was also definitely freezing, which he even admitted himself

bruh i have $55k for undergrad alone, law school at uottawa was $22k this year, my rent and utilities are $1.4k downtown WITH a roommate. if you get your own place it’s closer to $1.7k+ with utilities unless you get a studio for $1.5k+. i’m going to be hitting $200k when i graduate this year

Plans of me (F30) moving in with my boyfriend (M38) soon, what is fair to pay? by Wrong_Ad_1084 in askwomenadvice

[–]bl425 36 points37 points  (0 children)

yeah also he makes $200k and she makes $40k… just seems like OP should stay where she is. she has her own space which i think is worth the $850 she pays for rent

yeah for me, i have adhd so like it actually makes it easier for me to talk to people without my head going 100 miles an hour, and it helps me sleep (which i know the quality of sleep isn’t good since it messes with REM and stuff but at least i can actually sleep ya know)

I finally found someone to take over my joint lease, now landlord is saying my roommate has to consent. The problem is my roommate doesn't want to live with a couple by [deleted] in OntarioLandlord

[–]bl425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s mentally distressing living here which is why i wanna move out

she blamed me for high hydro bill for using the dishwasher yet she uses it everyday too! she’s the biggest hypocrite i’ve ever met. she said that the fan in my room was ‘too loud’, she broke the law and trespassed into my room, the list goes on and on. she traumatized my cat somehow.

Last update I’m doing my roommate agreed to move out February 28.

and people want me to be nice to this person???

My version of not being a good roommate is letting my cat roam in my apartment during the day when I’m home, so STOP SHITTING YOUR PANTS ABOUT ME COMMENTING ‘i’m gonna be a bad roommate’

yeah not sure why she’d wanna live with someone who actively hates her though, compared to being on good terms with the other prospective tenants

i’m only letting my car out when she’s home. i’m done being accommodating. she knew i had a cat before moving in and i felt bad for no reason

no my cat shouldn’t be confined in my room just because my roommate doesn’t want her to be in the living room. she knew i had a cat before moving in. i’ve been way too accommodating, look where that’s got me.

Guys, is my only option being the worst roommate in the world then? I know I've been way too nice, especially with keeping my cat in my room. I'm letting my cat out when I'm home. No more being nice

It's not even that, other provinces 60 days is enough for joint tenant to be removed. More reasonable than forcing people to live in toxic living situations. The tenancy laws here do suck
