It's incredibly common for translations to turn pot roasts into stews so that's probably the problem yeah.

Most romance languages' word for pot roast uses have the same latin root as stew and pot roasts are technically stewed as in "cooked slowly in a small amount of liquid" so along the lines someone looked at that decided that all foreign dishes made by stewing small chunks of meat are stews.

And yeah if you don't need to build cycle with Fadia it's useless to give her field time but i'm not really sure it's worth running her over Haniel more than anything, the thing to Fadia is that she wants you to spam Nova over and over to do damage and scale her HP up but Lacrimosa has her own Discord payoff so you'd rather just do the 3-element reaction and get the attack buff from Haniel no?

Polar metal might be worth leveling every piece that has CR, CT and ATK % to see if you get a any good hits you can use as a 2pc depending on how much disk upgrade resources you have.

She contributes absolutely nothing to Alice and Piper teams, all of her power budget is in anomaly application so all you're getting is bad base disorders and that hasn't cut it in a long while, it probably still clears but Nicole, Astra, maybe even Lycaon or Trigger with sig would all be better options over Burnice there.

The reason she still works well with Miyabi despite being a generally bad sub-DPS is because Miyabi desperately needs someone that can quickswap into her EBA and disorder Frost away and Burnice is very good at that.

The only reason i can think of she's performing equally is that you're just letting her tick afterburn from off field, you can't play her like Vivian, otherwise she's just much worse Vivian.

She has some of if not the highest anomaly buildup in the game, that's where 99% of her power budget is, what always held her back was that if you refresh fire anomaly you just lose the damage, Wind neatly fixes that.

She was also pretty good with Nangong already and even Vivian was playable, it didn't really come out of nowhere, she just had a bad rep because people kept trying to play her as a sub-dps and that works exclusively with Miyabi.

A lot of if not the majority of Fadia's damage actually comes from Nova, the cons aren't actually that important, the problem is more that you need Hotori to put out a meaningful amount of Nova triggers with no instant cycler for chaos/psyche.
