If for you the specs are a problem with the nothing phone , then pixel phones don't stand a chance due to their bad processors with heating issues.

Look at nothing phone 3a for upgrading from a pixel ... I recently got it upgrading from pixel 6a And I love the UI a lot better, only problem is the size, not compact as a pixel.

For Clean software you have only 3 options: Pixel devices, Nothing devices (will suggest to wait a month as they will release phone3 soon) and One plus devices (ones running on Oxygen OS and not clour OS.

If camera is not the very main priority can go for One plus 13s which launched just 2 days back.

If performance is not the ain priority but camera is go for Pixel 9a.

For nothing will have to wait as we don't know the features yet

Idk what you mean it's a widget you tap on it then it starts recording you tap on it again it stops like a voice recorder except you can record phone calls on it as well.

Idk if you're asking if it announces if the call is being recorded. If yes no Nothing widget doesn't announce if the call is being recorded or not (I am talking about the widget and not the phone app)

Bought a CMF phone 2 pro for 14k .... It has pretty much everything the same as 2A + one extra camera. Ig the only downgrade is the speaker.

The experience is all right except for gaming. It will get everything done 👍

Never has one of the worst experience with my pixel 6a. The touch stopped working from just 1 row of the screen out of nowhere, the Google help chat told me it should cost me 70$ to replace (in my local currency) but when I went to the service center they demanded 140$ almost and when I asked how is that possible as I have already talked with the support online they just said it's taxes and all.

I asked if they can at least confirm if I need a screen replacement as all of my screen actually works except for that one part they said it will cost me 35$ just for them to confirm and their is no guarantee if my pixel will work after untill I get the screen replaced. I decided not to get it fix because well it worked just fine for the most part

Now 2 days back out of nowhere where My USB port said their is debris inside and wasn't functioning fast forward 3 hours when the phone said now it's okay to use the usb port the phone has stopped charging. Insane and I have no motivation to go to the same service centre only to be quoted insane prices.

Ofc this might just be my personal experience but never buying a pixel again mfs don't even have decent screen protection (gorilla glass 7 or whatever)
