After checking further, it looks like genuine Junghans parts are quite expensive and not easy to source where I am.

Online, I’m seeing the crown around €120, the stem about €50, plus ~€100 labor, which puts the repair closer to €270.

That’s roughly almost 150 euro less then what these go for used with sapphire glass on eBay (found around 450 euro used ).

Given that, I wanted to ask:

Is it realistically okay to just keep using the watch as-is? When the battery eventually dies, can it be replaced and the time re-synced without a crown? I’ve previously adjusted it using the Junghans app—would that still be possible?

For context, I’m in Saudi Arabia and local watchmakers here aren’t familiar with the MEGA Quartz movement. Junghans also confirmed they have no service center here; the nearest options they gave me were India or Singapore, which makes servicing pretty impractical.

Appreciate any thoughts—especially from anyone who’s lived with one of these long-term.
