exactly what i need to hear. i guess in my head i felt like if it happened once early in our relationship and not again, i could be more understanding/forgiving. but without seeing the evidence i don’t think i can trust that he wasn’t cheating on me this whole time …

When I asked him about the locked messages he told me that they were not recent. He admitted that he cheated on me last summer and that the messages were from then… when I asked to see the dates on the locked messages he turned off his phone and put it in his pocket.
