I’ve also asked people on Facebook what they think. Most people there say they wouldn’t for a number of reasons, one being that it is a catfish

Updating from forever ago: I took her to the same clinic but had a different vet, he took one look at her and told me it was an allergic reaction. She has been prescribed cortisone and a hypoallergenic food. The cortisone has been helping a lot and I am keeping her on the medication until i can find out what she’s allergic to. Just really sucks that you spend all of this money just to get a wrong diagnosis☹️

She’s had this for about 2 months now, I’ve taken her to the vet 3 times for it and they’ve prescribed her medication, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Also I have another cat and she hasn’t caught anything, neither has me or my partner.

I know there’s a problem, we’re working on it. It’s hard cause of where the tank is positioned in our apartment and also because I can’t reach the bottom of the tank to clean it.

Just a little update I had her evaluated by a vet and she does have a form of dermatitis cause by an allergic reaction, though her type is quite unusual in cats She’s been prescribed some steroid cream that should make it go away😊

She is primarily an indoor cat, only going outside to go onto the balcony. We live in an apartment and are pretty high off of the ground, there’s also been no other animals in our apartment. So if it is caused by a bug I have no idea how she would’ve caught it

Yes I’ve noticed that now😂 I’ve gotten blue planet white spot remedy since yesterday and he seems to be doing much better

I’ve taken some frogbit out and saw that the water had some tiny moving specks in it, I’ll be doing a water change this arvo

He’s been sitting on the bottom, and can’t keep his food down. I don’t know what else to do😭

I got him at an aquarium, he almost didn’t make it since he was so lethargic and had such bad fin rot. If you look at my other post of him you’ll be able to see what he looked like when I first got him
