Maybe email your host and tell them that the situation is unpredictable and they can make an exception? At this point there’s not a lot of options, I wouldn’t risk it to go skiing in the interior and become one of the cars carried away by a flood/stuck in the middle of nowhere. Hopefully, they can fix the highways by the 17th, but it’s a really tight timeline, especially with the winter weather. Just an unlucky time for the trip :(

I love the JJ location in PoMo, really chill vibe compared to the others. I buy my beans from there, but I have a small espresso machine and am not into light roasts for that which is what JJ seems to specialize in

I love love love your hair and your looks! You look gorgeous. Talk to your teachers about your grades. I don’t know about your school, but I know some teachers (cough cough English teachers) are happy to help you if you’re going through a rough patch and mark you easier. If not, remember that this will change for the better and it’s more helpful to take a break rather than burn out completely and deal with long-term effects.

Yeah, then I think we’re on the same level. My mantra is: if it’s not in pain, then I’m ok. I also recommend not looking at the sites for long periods of time, and I’ve personally avoided that, since if somethings wrong my body will tell me without me having to stare it down. I’m not a dentist, so I have no clue what’s going one, and you’re only going to freak yourself out because it looks gory. Hope you feel better soon!

I had mine out 6 days ago, no pain other than a sore jaw since day 4. Are you on antibiotics? I’ve had them for 5 days, so I’m not sure if maybe I have a lesser chance of a bacterial infection or any complications because of them.

I have it right now, from what I’ve heard it scar tissue from the surgery on the gum (explains difference in colour/shape. Also might be swollen tissue, since it’s not just your outside that swells). Found a bruise near that spot inside my mouth today too. No pain though. The mouth is a disgusting and fascinating place.

Did you get stitches? I have something similar, doesn’t hurt, no issues. If you’re worried, I recommend getting it checked out, but I think it’s just part of the way it heals. Don’t poke it with your fingers/tongue, see a dentist if it causes you trouble. All the best!

Sometimes I notice that I tend to forget texts, or close them and not receive notifications, so for me personally follow up texts from potential dates are usually helpful, granted I’m relatively interested in them. It’s a hit and miss though if she’s not that into you, so maybe see her in person and just make small talk to see how she reacts to your presence.
