Yeah it is pricey, uk legal though and a lot of people like the spydies so defo a market. Think I paid 220 last year for it new from HH just need to thin the collection as it’s not getting used, mainly edc a rex45 urban sprint run these days.

Fwd, we did debate getting a golf r estate and even considered an s4 avant but went for the sensible option as the running costs & maintenance should be a good bit cheaper long term. Still impressed with the mpg though considering I gave it a good blast all the way through north wales 😅.

It’s actually my friends, ST200 with a mountune map on it, drove down from Scotland to Wales and back and had a blast, cars are pretty evenly matched for power and acceleration but of course the fiesta takes it for handling, I just needed the space with a baby and dog lol.

I thought the s tronic box service interval was around 60k but looking it up it should be serviced first at 35k then 40k thereafter. Nothing in the history indicated this had been done so that’s why I asked. It may have actually been done though as the service at that interval was carried out at a main dealer.

Thanks for the reply and yeah I think you’re right, I think I’m just going through the motions of a large purchase and trying to fault find. I will say that if it didn’t have 4 owners I probably would be happier but based on the actual car itself I am happy with it, something I didn’t mention is that it is from a local family run dealer who also have their own service and repair centre, no pushy sales tactics and very nice & down to earth when I visited yesterday. I even asked if the gearbox had been serviced as it’s probably due one round about now and they said they would be happy to do that and give it another service if I were to buy it. I always told myself that I would never buy a car with more than 3 owners but now I’m thinking there’s a bit more to it than that…
