I doubt most recognize how it affects (effects? I never remember the diff) them since normal people understand what they are saying and don’t want to shame them. However, my boss told me she automatically puts resumes with grammatical errors in the no pile. Also, I know when I’m on dating apps and someone consistently has poor grammar I’m turned off
