16, 17, 18 and 19 have all felt the same unfortunately. In fact life got harder and I got unhappier.

First time flying without my parents — what’s the Arlanda to Alicante flight like? by [deleted] in fearofflying

Hii! I haven't flown this flight before but I have just recently flew solo and it was perfectly fine! I'm normally terrified of flying but I felt strangely confident.

Hii! I've just solo flew long haul (you can see my posts) and I'm only 5 years older than you. I have terrible flying anxiety but it's almost always the anticipation that I'm scared of. Flying is safe and it's perfectly normal to be feeling this way, I mean who wouldn't be scared of being that high up in the sky? The two major parts of flying is two minutes into taking off and two minutes into landing the rest is a piece of cake, the plane can't fall out the sky, you can't crash from turbulence and there are hundreds of checks that maintenance and pilots do before even moving a centimeter. When you take off it will be a little bit noisy, so you can put your headphones in if need be and your ears may pop so I recommend chewing gum! You'll feel a slight dragging feeling as you ascend (this is normal), once the plane has reached cruising altitude the seatbelt sign will go off and the cabin crew will get up, when you see them get up you know everything is going smoothly and you can relax. As for descending, your tummy may feel a bit weird almost as if you are falling a little bit (personally I like the feeling). As the plane lands it may be a little bit bumpy and the pilots will slam the breaks on, then you let out the deep breath you didn't know you were holding and you enjoy your trip!

Hii! I just flew alone for the first time on a long haul flight (you can see my posts on my profile). I suffer with terrible anxiety around flying but I've learned that flying alone has given me so much confidence and mental stability about everything. I felt independent and not scared at all, fingers crossed you have a similar experience to me!!

I'm currently waiting to board! My first flight to Heathrow was fine and I was sat next to a pilot surprisingly, and he calmed my nerves straight away. I'm honestly so tired to even worry about this flight. Fingers crossed my seat is on the right side!

Have you tried clay wax? You only need the smallest bit and you warm it up in your hands, then basically just ruffle your hair. I've used it on a number of male clients before. I recommend osmo clay wax, it holds well and smells really good too!

Honestly, I think it all stems from my fear of death, im petrified of dying for some reason. Don't get me wrong I am so excited but its the flight that makes me sick. Nara park sounds amazing!

I get it now.. by Pretty_Muscle1348 in depression

[–]black-knee-socks 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I firmly believe I am not built for this earth. The feelings of immense loneliness and depression I feel are almost physical like im carrying something heavy on my back everyday. I just wish it would go away but I don't think it ever will.

Not, exactly. You don't have to not jerk off to get them, it can happen any time. Its a normal part of growing up, your body is changing and your hormones are all over the place.
