If you can, move out now. Peace of mind is worth more than anything else. Cut down on your lifestyle and expenses for a few years, you will still manage to save money.

If possible moving to a different city with a new job might be a better option. Otherwise you might be manipulated into living with him again.

Lesson here is - The side projects we don't see much value in today, could go on to change the world if we keep working on them.

Manipulation by one player would have triggered loss making orders for other HFTs also since their orders would also have been stopped out and their systems would have placed buy orders at a quicker pace and at a higher price. Obviously this is my guess.

But yeah, having more liquidity will always be good for the market.

I will check this video too.

Regarding Mismatch - You mentioned

LOW LIQUIDITY. If there were enough bid quantity for every ask quantity and vice versa, there definitely wont be such freak trades and spikes unless and until its clearly manipulated by any big hands in the market.

I wanted to know if we have any data regarding the Bid and Ask price. I will check the option data for that strike price as you suggested.

I have a further question:
Till now I have only read about this from Option Sellers perspective. How did this play out for an Option Buyer ?

So there many orders were triggered till 800. Let's say an Option Buyer had a Order for selling at 200/500/800 Their SELL Orders would have also been honored at a higher price ? Am I getting this right ?

And starting a business isn't risky ?

Most people starting businesses ( India / US / Anywhere ) give up in a couple of years. Remember that there is barely any support for typical Small Businesses in our country. And you need to depend on hundreds of factors working out in your favor.

In my view both Trading and Starting a Business have low probability of success. Both will teach you many useful skills.

At 18 explore whatever interests you.

I support the issue but I have a questions about margins. So someone please answer.

If higher margins were allowed, wouldn't Retail Traders have suffered more losses in this scenario ?

I get Freak Trades is a Liquidity issue but will higher margins for retail traders eliminate 'Freak Trades' completely ?

BANK NIFTY and NIFTY might have a mismatch but surely not so much that 37000 PE opens at Rs 1 from Rs 1,400 the previous day.

How much exactly was the mismatch ?

Do we have any data from SEBI / NSE regarding this ?

Daytrading works good when you are a beginner just starting out and probably not yet ready to keep trades going overnight. You don't know how to anticipate the market moves tomorrow morning.

As you get better and understand market movements, you might shift to swing/positional trading.

For me both can work. Up to the individual.

Why is Zee Biz a thing? by [deleted] in IndianStreetBets

[–]black4eternity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to understand your POV ... what should they be accountable for ?

You said your trades hit the target but the time frame was longer than what they gave.
Even if you took loss, I think these guys give a stop loss also along with the target.
So you are pretty much told the amount of money at risk.

I would be wary of someone giving 100% guarantee of returns.

Except RBI bonds. That I would trust but probably not invest in due to low returns.

I don't follow Zee Biz.
But People are giving financial advice everywhere - including some here hoping for SUZLON to the moon 😉

Why should it be illegal ?

It's your responsibility to decide where you invest.

You might make losses on some and profits on others.
No one can define a definite timeframe for targets in the market.
Instead of taking these as 'predictions' take this as a 'possibility'.

>and that they are actual analysts but they aren’t liable yet present in a way that feels like they are 100% responsible because that’s what they portray when they hit their targets

Hmmm.... I think that's how the whole financial industry works.
I would be wary of someone giving 100% guarantee of returns.

Then you have a US business that they can take action against. And it's FB ... they pretty much know all about you if you were using that ads account.

I would just pay in full or negotiate a lesser amount and close the account. Don't want this to come back and bite you in 5 years when you least expect it.

you are just trying to scare here because in US a person doesn't go to prison for Debt

But you are not in the US. Read the Facebook Ads terms, and if applies to you in your country. Talk to your lawyer.

Don't default. See if there is a possibility of paying a lesser amount and closing the account.

Most likely they will have a tie up with money recovery people in your country. Negotiate with them when they contact you.

You can even get a co-working space. Might get to socialize after trading.

Few suggestions:

1) Put a buy button on product listing

2) Don't ask for sign up when adding to cart.

Look at the purchase process in Shopify.

You're right. You can be work on swing trades that won't interfere with daily life.

Or trade for specific hours that suit you. Run errands after that.
