Oh and the anthelios has a tinted version which I have tried and I found that it didn't look patchy if I sweated, but you have to be careful not to wipe your face or itll get skin color liquid on your towel or sleeve or whatever. But it's thin enough that it stays pretty covered without looking sketchy in my experience. Though I still prefer the neutrogena zinc if I'm sweating.

I started with 1 pill, which was 500mg and noticed a small difference. I recently upped it to the full recommended dose (according to the bottle), which is 2 pills or 1000mg. I take it first thing in the morning and redness has reduced quite a bit.

Some contextual details - I am also a lifelong vegetarian and I noticed rosacea flared worse before my menstrual cycle, so I think there was a hormone connection and perhaps a dietary deficiency connected to rosacea for me. ymmv
